Percussionists, drummers, keyboard, string, wind players and singers are all welcome. No experience in gamelan music is necessary and you need not know how to read music. You should have a good sense of rhythm and musical memory, plus a willingness to learn new ways of making music. There is no fee to join. To register contact the Director or call 416-653-8747. There is no membership fee.
Sora Priangan also provides opportunity to composers. Come learn about gamelan degung music by playing it, and then compose music for our group to perform.
